"FAIRFIELD -- A Fairfield man is facing a child endangerment charge for a walk he took with a 5-year-old child early Tuesday.Police said they found Millard Smiddy, 36, across the street from the Good Times Bar with the child, for whom he was responsible.When officers asked him why he was out so late, Smiddy told them that God told him to go for a walk.

Officers said Smiddy was very aggressive and appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol."
